The 387^th Meeting of The Chicago Society of Biblical Research convenes on October 22, 2022 beginning at 2:45 pm at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago

The Chicago Society of Biblical Research takes over responsibilities for hosting the Midwest Regional SBL Meeting. When the SBL discontinued support for regional meetings in 2022, CSBR decided to continue to sponsor what has been a critical gathering of biblical scholars in the midwest. With the aim to preserve some of the elements of the previous regional Midwest SBL Meeting, the CSBR sponsored Midwest Regional Meeting for Biblical Studies takes place at St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame Indiana. The date however, will be a bit later than the usual early February date to allow for better timing between several commitments. The Conference takes place March 17-19, 2023.
