CSBR Student Members are eligible to apply for a travel grant of up to $300.00 to attend the Annual SBL meeting. Three grants will be available each year and preference will be given to students who are presenting papers at the conference. Grants will be given in the form of reimbursement of eligible expenses: economy airfare, hotel, and registration. To apply for this grant, students must submit:
1) an application cover letter
2) a completed application form
3) a copy of the letter of acceptance for their paper OR a letter from their CSBR sponsor recommending their attendance at the meeting.
Application materials must be sent in pdf form to Dr. Dong Hyeon Jeong (dong.jeong@garrett.edu). The deadline for applications is September 30th. A decision on the applications will be made by the members of the CSBR executive committee at the Fall meeting and their decision is final. Reimbursement will be made upon submission of original expense receipts to the treasurer. Grantees may not apply in subsequent years.
